Ability to filter code search by file type only

      We would like to have the ability to filter code search by file type as, currently, in order to do it, it is necessary to apply a workaround:
      eg. 

      ext:txt txt

      We believe that the following could be used to get the same results:

      ext:txt

              Assignee:
              Unassigned
              Reporter:
              Gabriel M (Inactive)
              Votes:
              0 Vote for this issue
              Watchers:
              2 Start watching this issue
