      Summary:

      Currently Bitbucket 2FA and Atlassian Account 2FA are different from each other. So unmanaged users currently need to enter the authy codes twice. Once for Atlassian Account and another for Bitbucket Cloud.

      The Suggestion is to unify the 2FA process, where the same 2FA can be used for Bitbucket and Atlassian account.

      Workaround:

      Users can currently opt to have SSO on Atlassian account. This means their account needs to be managed and the domain claimed. Then, enable 2FA on Bitbucket account. Essentially asking for 2FA only once over Bitbucket Cloud.

      The unmanaged users currently have to enter 2FA codes twice as suggested earlier.
