When I receive an email notification for a commit it contains the author, repository, commit hash + link, and commit msg. It doesn't include the branch the commit was on. If the commit message doesn't give me enough context (e.g. "Removed trailing whitespace"), I have to click through to the commit to find which branch the commit was on. It would be convenient to include the branch, and perhaps a link to the branch, in the email.
