Markdown styling - baseline of inline/backtick code text too high in new site's style

XMLWordPrintable

      When previewing the README.md file of a given repo ('Overview' tab), the inline backticked text sits slightly above the other words in the paragraph, which makes expressions look faintly like a highlighted superscript of some kind.

      The difference appears better at some zoom-levels than others, as it's only slightly off base (see attachment). Although my system picks up Courier from the font-family: style, I have confirmed this is not a font-issue by using the web-console to try other fonts.

      The CSS-rule that seems to be the culprit is

      ak-editor-bitbucket .code, code, tt {
        padding: 1px 3px;
        [...]
      }

      Platform: Firefox 56.0 and Chrome 61.0.3163.100 on Windows 7 Enterprise
