Bitbucket UI does not distinguish between the author and committer fields for git commits

Git allows the author and committer fields of a commit to be set separately. But the UI doesn't respect that difference and just shows one of the fields. The choice of fields is inconsistent: sometimes it uses the author field and calls it the committer and vice-versa.
