Display visual cue in email commit notifications if commit message is truncated (BB-11018)

XMLWordPrintable

Currently, I'm told only the first line of the commit message is what is being sent via email to watchers of the repos. This seems like a bug.

As a manager (and my boss the VP) we're different users and have a different user experience expectation when it comes to email messages. The entire commit message should be there for review so as not to force an extra click, load and review of said message.

I'd understand if you only wish to allow the first 240 characters or so, but at least have a "..read more.." type of link to give us users a UI notification in the email message that you've truncated the commit message.

Still - I'd rather see the whole message. It helps me and my team.
