SVNKit bundled cannot authenticate against Digest Authentication (Apache)

The bundled svnkit.jar (svnkit-1.3.5.7539.jar) is having issues connecting to a Subversion repository that uses digest authentication. I've gone through http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMKB/Authentication+Failure+with+NTLM+Subversion+Authentication, but we don't have control on the repository we are hitting, so we couldn't enable basic authentication.

So, I decided to try replacing the bundled svnkit.jar with the latest standalone version from svnkit's website (svnkit-1.3.5.7406.jar) and authentication works without any special system properties. Although this is ultimately a bug in the svnkit's code base (I assume), you can fix this by reconsidering the version/revision jar being used.

Note: Only tested this on 3.0.3, but looked at the bundled jar with the 3.1.4 code in webapp/WEB-INF/lib and saw the same titled jar, so I'm assuming it has been unchanged between version 3.0.3 and 3.1.4.
