The cvsRepository.getSymbolicNameType() is set on the server when doing change detection. This property may not be propagated to the agent to tell the agent to ignore the datestamp.

Workaround

To apply the patch on Bamboo 2.6.1:

1. Download the 3 class files attached to this ticket, in the following directories:

   ../webapps/WEB-INF/classes/com/atlassian/bamboo/repository/cvsimpl/CVSRepository.class
   ../webapps/WEB-INF/classes/com/atlassian/bamboo/repository/cvsimpl/CvsRepositoryManager.class
   ../webapps/WEB-INF/classes/com/atlassian/bamboo/utils/SystemProperty.class
   

2. You will have to create the directory structure if they aren't present in the classes directory.
3. Restart Bamboo.
