It would be nice to have feature allowing the user to create a snapshot of the EBS volume attached to an Instance without logging into that instance via ssh before shutting in down. At the configuration step of an Image, when setting the snapshot id of the volume to attach, an option for auto generate snapshot on shutdown will save a lot of time, instead of logging in to perform that script call manually each time.
