Remote Agents able to perform simultaneous builds

We currently have 2 build servers, a 1.x and a 2.x server.
The 2.x server uses remote agents for doing builds for other (then the bamboo server that is) platforms.
The 1.x server has a lot of local build queues for managing simultaneous builds.

We are considering using 2.x with a single server and using remote agents as a way to scale, but our hesitation is that the remote agents don't appear to be able to run multiple simultaneous builds. It appears this is not an option with 2.x, so for scaling purposes we couldn't have more than 25 builds going at a time (plus local builds on the bamboo server itself). With some of our CIT builds taking quite some time, that's a severe restriction in our environment (at least as we currently understand things).
