One of the primary reasons for selecting Bamboo over Zutubi's Pulse or Jetbrains TeamCity would be the potential for tight integration between the build server both Jira and Confluence. As a start it would be nice to see what Jira issues were included in each build.

I could continue on the theme and say it would be nice to publish artifacts in Confluence either autmoted with each build or as a designated push especially around release time.

[BAM-274] Display related jiras in a build

You can now link to JIRA through issue keys in commit comments. You can also view builds related to JIRA issues within Bamboo.

Through the "Code Changes" tab you can now link to FishEye file history, diff and file for that version.

We still have some more to go, especially with integrating with JIRA from the JIRA side. We have a plugin that's an issue tab panel which works with JIRA 3.7-beta and we'll release it when that becomes available

I am all for fisheye as well. And the magical UI can link Jira, Fisheye Bamboo and findBugs so I can also tell what rules the code may be violating. ...but that dream is a bit down the road.

I think a 3 way link between jira, fisheye and and Bamboo would be a filler feature! That way I know who changed the code, what the chanage entailed and why they did it.

            Peter,

Thanks for the feedback here. Part of the things we're tackling for 0.6 is JIRA and Confluence integration, and this issue is definitely on the cards.

            Cheers,

            Mark C
