Issue Summary

Multiple Git operations depend on the same resources in Bamboo and at higher loads, these operations start to frequently overlap and wait on each other. This causes long moments of silence where Bamboo is waiting for the Git process to finish an operation to report back, only to proceed on with the next operation and so on.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Configure a very large linked repository with Bamboo Specs and multiple plans using branch integrations.
2. Push multiple PRs and Bamboo Specs changes

Expected Results

Each PR and Specs scans take time, but they report the resource they are waiting for to be free.

Actual Results

All these operations will be taking the same time, but users and admins are not able to discern if Bamboo is running some operation, working under heavy load or any other explanation to why a Bamboo Specs is taking long "doing nothing" and others.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
