      This High severity SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) vulnerability was introduced in versions 9.6.1, 10.0.0, 10.1.0, 10.2.0, and 11.0.0 of Bamboo Data Center and Server.

      This SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) vulnerability, with a CVSS Score of 7.7 and a CVSS Vector of CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E/CR:X/IR:X/AR:X/MAV:X/MAC:X/MAT:X/MPR:X/MUI:X/MVC:X/MVI:X/MVA:X/MSC:X/MSI:X/MSA:X/S:X/AU:X/R:X/V:X/RE:X/U:X allows an attacker to access the content of internal network resources. When running in an environment like Amazon EC2, this flaw may be used to access a metadata resource that provides access credentials and other potentially confidential information.

      Atlassian recommends that Bamboo Data Center and Server customers upgrade to latest version, if you are unable to do so, upgrade your instance to one of the specified supported fixed versions:

      • Bamboo Data Center and Server 9.6: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 9.6.20
      • Bamboo Data Center and Server 10.2: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 10.2.12
      • Bamboo Data Center and Server 11.0: Upgrade to a release greater than or equal to 11.0.8

      The National Vulnerability Database provides the following description for this vulnerability: axios is a promise based HTTP client for the browser and node.js. The issue occurs when passing absolute URLs rather than protocol-relative URLs to axios. Even if ⁠baseURL is set, axios sends the request to the specified absolute URL, potentially causing SSRF and credential leakage. This issue impacts both server-side and client-side usage of axios. This issue is fixed in 1.8.2.
