Currently, by default, Bamboo only posts build status to Bitbucket server on commits and respective branches and not on tags, even if the build is triggered through the Tag Trigger type.

This will be the same whether the build is triggered by a normal commit or a tag trigger type. Bamboo will send the build status to the associated commit SHA but not necessarily to the tag ref.

Suggestion:

It would be great to send the build status to the respective Tags reference on the commit when the build is triggered through the Tag Trigger Type.
