If a Perforce command does not execute due to:

Request too large (over 500000); see 'p4 help maxresults'.

This response is not caught as an error and is therefore parsed for the expected response, which can cause some unpredictable behaviour especially for the 'changes' command. The perforce library should have this as one of the error messages it 'looks out for' and errors out appropriately.
