Description
Problem Definition:
A customer suggested the creation of a new build state in Bamboo similar to the "unstable" build result in Jenkins. We've already found a similar request in the past at BAM-15174 that didn't go further.
Currently, the Bamboo build result was designed to show if the build was successful, failed, or if it was incomplete:
- Successful — the code compiled, with or without errors, and all tests completed successfully.
- Failed — either the code did not compile, or at least one test failed.
- Incomplete — the build was not completed, e.g. it may have been stopped manually.
Suggested Feature:
The new build state would be marked in yellow and it would allow the build to pass even though their tests have failed. It's something like a "proceed with caution" situation. Jenkins has a build state similar to this one named as "unstable" build result.
