This is reproducible on Data Center: yes

The logging for the conditional task fail state is unclear without reviewing the source code.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Add a conditional task to a plan using a variable
2. Run a build where the condition is not met

Expected Results

The build log entry could be more clear if we replaced Reason with Unfulfilled condition or similar:

Skipping task 'Echo' because of unfulfilled condition. Unfulfilled condition: Variable plan.test.variable.test equals true 

Actual Results

The below entry is logged in the build log:

Skipping task 'Echo' because of unfulfilled condition. Reason: Variable plan.test.variable.test equals true
