      Problem Definition

      Currently, there is no option to pass Jira Issue ID to a Bamboo plan.

      Suggested Solution

      Introduce a Bamboo variable for Jira like ${bamboo.jira.issueID}

      Workaround

      Introduce a script task to fetch the Issue ID from Jira via REST call.
