Problem

Bamboo default heap size may be insufficient as memory requirements have changed over time.

Suggested Solution

• Review current heap size and determine if there is a more optimal default to reduce the occurrences of OutOfMemoryError not long after installing the product for smaller customers.
• If changes are required, ensure system requirements are also updated so there's enough overhead for external processes outside of JVM heap:

• More clarity on System Requirements to properly communicate that the number provided relates to physical RAM rather than a heap size recommendations. Perhaps we can include both.
