      Problem Definition

      If a remote agent is started on an unsupported version of Java, there are numerous exceptions that prevent start-up and it can be unclear what the issue is.

      Suggested Solution

      Detect the Java version during startup. Halt start-up and print clear error messaging if it's not compatible.
