    Description

Bamboo startup should first check to see that the Java version is supported.
Currently [ 6.7.1] Bamboo only supports Java 8.

If the Java version is incompatible with Bamboo there is no clear message when Bamboo starts. Bamboo with attempt to start and fail to load plugins that require Java 8 and also see obscure failures in the application logs..

This suggestion is being raised so that Bamboo can detect an invalid Java version and quit early with an informative error message.

This would prevent customer frustration and support tickets.
