Description
Problem Definition
Though Atlassian officially supports OpenJDK, they are not tested and thus it's not guaranteed that all of them (Amazon, Adopt, Redhat, Azul, Bellsoft, etc. - just mentioning the most popular ones here) will be working for Bamboo.
Suggested Solution
Amazon Corretto OpenJDK should get Bamboo's officially approved OpenJDK.
Amazon's OpenJDK provides long term support at no cost including performance and security patches. Find details here: https://aws.amazon.com/corretto/faqs/
Why this is important
Providing an OpenJDK officially approved by Atlassian makes this JDK a true alternative to Oracle's JDK. Besides, the number of OpenJDKs on the market is steadily increasing, so it turns almost a necessity to make one of those (for which Amazon's one seems a good choice) a user reference for Bamboo.
