      Problem

Certifying Bamboo docker container images to Red Hat would help admins restricted to Red Hat environments to get it deployed and used.

Additionally the Bamboo docker containers could also be added to Red Hat container catalog.

[BAM-20242] Certify Bamboo official docker containers to Red Hat OS

Hi, I have just received a support ticket for our instance of Bamboo. Please can we get this implementated asap!? Thanks.

The current focus of US DevSecOps (ODIN) is centered around the use of RedHat as the underlying platform OS for development.

It would be helpful if Docker for Bamboo could be certified for RH to support its integration into this process.

The use of Docker in the Bamboo pipeline gives an easier and scalable migration path should we move to LM\JPO\AWS provided dev' env'.

Please can you push this ticket on the Atlassian support pages?

Red Hat has their own container catalog and they certify a number of applications to run on OpenShift and be hosted within their container catalog. As a lot of enterprises have strong Red Hat footprints and many are leveraging OpenShift for their K8S/Container workloads it would make sense to have Bamboo and it's agents to be certified and in the Red Hat catalog as well.
