Creating a JIRA issue from Bamboo without all required fields causes the Issue Creation screen to hang

Issue Summary

Build dashboard >> Actions >> Create issue >> pop-up window "Create issue for build" --> fill Description, but not required Summary leads to screen hanging.

Environment

Bamboo 6.7.1 and Jira 7.6.0

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create issue for build
2. Leave a required field empty

Expected Results

Bamboo should prompt for missing fields to be filled in.

Actual Results

Bamboo Issue Creation screen hangs indefinitely

Workaround

Fill in all fields
