    Description

A remote agent gets registered in Bamboo by IP address / hostname. If network changes from IPv4 to IPv6, a new agent will be created, having (x) appended to its name. This can create a great amount of work for users when Dedication was applied. Since a new agent got registered, dedication will no longer work and unintentional builds could be triggered in agents.

With that said, Bamboo could have an option to prevent this from happening.

Also, it could have an option to specify agents name in start-up command:

      -Dbamboo-agent-name=My Remote Agent

This would also allow users to run the same Remote Agent on different environments without having the necessity of migrating <bamboo-remote-home> directory.

In case Remote Agent is already online, prevent agent from starting up.
