      Problem Definition

Currently the only way to configure Elastic Bamboo authentication is to use an AWS Access Key and Secret Key combination.

Some organizations may prefer an alternate authentication method for Elastic Bamboo, such as being able to assume an IAM role that is assigned to the server hosting Bamboo.

      Suggested Solution

      • Implement alternative authentication modes for Elastic Bamboo, specifically the ability to assume an IAM role from the environment.
