Summary
The Change forgotten password reset form is no longer working in Bamboo 6.0. After entering a new password and hitting confirm, the form POSTs back to itself with no confirmation of anything changing. The password does not change.
Steps to Reproduce
- Bamboo 6.0 + Mail server configured
- Setup a user with a valid email address that you have access to
- Logout
- On the login screen, goto 'Can't access your account?'
- Enter the username of the user that was setup in step 2 to perform password reset for and confirm
- Email will be sent to that user with a password reset link, goto that link.
- Enter new password and hit confirm
Expected Results
Confirmation screen is displayed letting the user know password has changed
Password is changed
Actual Results
Form POSTs back to itself, no confirmation is displayed and password doesn't change.
Workaround
A Bamboo administrator can set a new password via Bamboo Administration > Overview > Users. This password can then be changed by the user at Profile > Change password once logged in.
