Summary

Plan branches that are automatically created, but never run a build are not being deleted from Bamboo when the branch is deleted from the repo.

Environment

• Bamboo version 5.12.3.1
• Bitbucket Server v4.6.3

Steps to Reproduce

1. Got to Plan Configuration > Branches
2. Set-up New Branches to be automatically created.
3. Set-up Delete branches with 'Delete plan branches with daily cleanup'
4. Set Branch triggers with 'None'
5. Create a branch in Bitbucket and check that the plan branch was created in Bamboo.
6. Delete the branch from Bitbucket

Expected Results

Expect to see the plan branch get deleted with the daily scheduled cleanup

Actual Results

The plan branch remains configured in Bamboo

Workaround

Manually delete the plan branch.
You can also run the plan branch, which will fail and the plan branch will be deleted at the next daily cleanup.
