Description
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a plan
- Create a new global Bitbucket Server/Stash repository pointed to some branch
- Go to Edit Repository -> Advanced options -> Include / exclude files
- Choose 'Exclude all changes that match to the following pattern'
- Enter a file pattern for your directory, e.g. sub/directory/*
- Set up Remote trigger to trigger the build when changes are committed
- Commit to the sub/directory/
Expected results
Check that the commit to the directory doesn't trigger the plan
Actual results
The commit to the directory triggers the plan
Notes
- It's also impossible to include the specific directory choosing 'Include only changes that match to the following pattern' so that the build is triggered only after changes made to that repository. That setting also does not have any effect.
- I also found out that other people came accross the same issue according to https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/257995/is-there-a-way-to-trigger-a-bamboo-build-on-changes-to-a-specific-sub-directory-of-a-git-repository
