Problem Definition
Although Bamboo is case sensitive regarding groups it only allows users to create groups in lower-case and without spaces. This sometimes creates a trap for users switching from internal to external user directories, since they are not able to create groups in Bamboo to match the groups from the external directory (if they have spaces or upper-case characters) to give them the correct permissions before actually switching to the new directory.
Suggested Solution
Allow Bamboo to handle groups creation with upper-case, lower-case characters and spaces.
Workaround
Add a group to the external directory matching a group with admin permissions in Bamboo. After that you are able to add the groups from the external directory to the correct permissions (even when they have spaces or upper-case characters).
