      Hi,

I made two evaluation of Bamboo since July (unde Windows with HSL initialy).
And now, I am trying to perform the installation of Bamboo 1.2.3 on two differents environnement, but the both are gone to failure.

      1st :

      • IBM WebSphere Application Server - ND, 6.0.2.11 (cf110623.10) ... The JDK IBM 1.4
      • Oracle Database 9i with Oracle Driver 10g

      Applied Installation Procedure

      • Datasource and JAAS account created and tested
      • App Server and frontal IHS creation
      • Aplpy Java Properties into AppServer Settings (bamboo.home, ...)
      • Bamboo WAR installation
      • Start of AppServer and WebApp
      • No error in start : See Unable to embed resource: bamboo.was.log of type text/plain

      Failure :

      • At 1s Access the following error is fired :
        SRVE0232E: Internal Server Error.
Exception Message: [Filter [license]: filter is unavailable.]
      • See Unable to embed resource: bamboo.was.1st.access.log of type text/plain

      2nd Env. :

      • Tomcat 5.5.12 with JDK Sun 1.5.0_12
      • Oracle Database 9i with Oracle Driver 10g

      Applied Installation Procedure

      • JDK and Tomcat with Manager Installation
      • Oracle Driver ojdbc14-10.1.0.4.jar installed on TomcatDir/common/lib
      • Bamboo Deployment through Tomcat Manager
      • Stop WebApp (Started automatically by Manager during Deployment)
      • Update bamboo-init.properties with a Bamboo reserved File System
      • Restart of Bamboo WebApp
      • Configuration stopped at Direct JDBC Configuration Connection step with Oracle with Failure Oracle

      Failure :
At setup/setupStandardDatabase.action step, the following warning is fired :
Database configuration failed: Cannot initialize context because there is already a root application context present - check whether you have multiple ContextLoader* definitions in your web.xml!

It appears that these two failures have the same root cause, around a Spring Context misconfigured !
I am not aware with Spring and do not have yet found a resolution among Internet searches.

      Tks by advance.
      V.
