Description
SUMMARY
Branch clean up deletes new branch if the name is the same with previously deleted branch.
SCENARIO
- A branch created in repository e.g. "B1"
- Bamboo detected the branch and create a plan branch for it
- "B1" branch deleted from repository
- "B1" recreated in repository
- Bamboo deletes the branch after the set time met e.g. 7 days - even though "B1" recreated in repo
- Create plan branch in Bamboo manually and use "B1" as source repo
- Bamboo immediately delete the plan branch when branch clean up executed
Audit log sample:
03:00, 26 Sep SYSTEM Plan deleted: Test Plan - TEST - B1 (TEST-TEST3) 08:37, 25 Sep user1 New Plan branch created TEST-TEST3 03:00, 25 Sep SYSTEM Plan deleted: Test Plan - TEST - B1 (TEST-TEST2) 03:19, 24 Sep user1 New Plan branch created TEST-TEST2 03:00, 24 Sep SYSTEM Plan deleted: Test Plan - TEST - B1 (TEST-TEST1) 01:21, 24 Sep user1 New Plan branch created TEST-TEST1
SUGGESTION
Please use different branch name for now to avoid this behavior.
