    Description

Creating a new Git repository should be validating the username and password when it's being entered.

Ideally the same validation error message that's being showed for Subversion should be available
      – e.g. This is not a valid Subversion repository: svn: E170001: Authentication required for '<https://svn.example.com:443> Subversion'

This feature not being implemented has cause us a massive headache. As the password was entered wrong or with a hidden character. This effectively locked out the system id causing all subsequent builds on the instance to fail.
