A logical step after a successful deployment is to run functional tests (ie. smoke tests) over an environment.

I have searched answers.atlassian.com and this does not seem to be supported, even though build plans can trigger other tasks with ease.

This is a core piece in the CI / CD pipeline that appears to be missing.

Please let me know if this will be available in a future version of Bamboo, or why this can't (or shouldn't) be implemented.
