Cannot add new executable using task configuration

Replicate issue

1. go to "Plan configuration"
2. add new task "Visual Studio"
3. click on "Add new executable"
4. fill in "Executable label" and "Path" input fields
5. hit "Add"

Workaround

if running task in Bamboo server

1. go to "Bamboo administration >> Overview >> Build resources >> Server capabilities"
2. scroll down and "Add capability"

   Capability type: Executable
   Type: Visual Studio
   Executable label: ...
   Path: ...
   

3. hit "Add"
4. go back to your "Plan configuration"
5. select the "Visual Studio" task and your just added capability should be listed

if running task in Bamboo remote agent

1. go to "Bamboo administration >> Overview >> Build resources >> Agents >> [your agent] >> Capabilities" tab
2. select "Add capability"

   Capability type: Executable
   Type: Visual Studio
   Executable label: ...
   Path: ...
   

3. hit "Add"
4. go back to your "Plan configuration"
5. select the "Visual Studio" task and your just added capability should be listed
