Problem Definition

When previewing a deployment in Bamboo the deployment differences when comparing a branch that's merged to the currently deployed branch you current see the following message as a difference:

The release currently deployed on this environment is from a different branch. The difference cannot be calculated.

Suggested Solution

The difference should show the number of issues and commits that differ between the merged branch and the current deployment, as the code base has the same origins.
