In version 5.8.1 the deployment projects do not have any features that will allow a manual Stage/Task/Job to be run during the deployment project.

A good example is when bringing up a website to be a manual Stage/Task/Job.
As your website may have to wait for many other external processes to be finished before your website can be brought back online.
The manual Stage/Task/Job would be most suitable.
