Checkouts using Bamboo and even SVNKIT take much much longer than checkouts using the svn binary installed on our build machines.

There was a bug filed for slow checkouts: BAM-15208 which is a "won't fix", because it's based on an issue in the 3rd party library, svnkit. The bug suggested using svn export to speed up the process, however, some build plans require access to svn data/metadata, and as shown by the benchmarks on that bug, svnkit is much slower than standard svn binaries.

Can you please create an option to just use the svn binaries on a build machine instead of svnkit for svn checkouts and updates?
