As a developer or someone in QA, I would like the ability to customize predefined variables in a deployment environment as part of the deployment process. For example, I may have a Staging environment that has a task in it which copies artifacts to a server by IP address. However, this IP is not fixed and the user should be prompted to set the value of the IP_ADDRESS environment variable prior to running the deployment environment tasks.

I have seen this customization available for build plans and I think it would make a fine addition to environments and deployment projects.
