I have a Bamboo build plan which has a password variable. A deployment is triggered automatically upon successful completion of the build plan

This variable is being used by the deployment project and upon successful creation of a release and deployment.

I click the following: Release > Variables. I can see the password for (confluence.password) variable visible in that. I was expecting a (****) format.
