Description
setenv.sh starts with the following comment:
# One way to set the Bamboo HOME path is here via this variable. Simply uncomment it and set a valid path like /bamboo/home. You can of course set it outside in the command terminal. That will also work. # #BAMBOO_HOME=""
However, setting BAMBOO_HOME here has no effect.
The proper place is the bamboo-init.properties, as described in the documentation.
The note in bamboo-init.properties is also incorrect:
## You can specify your bamboo.home property here or in your system environment variables.
All the other Java-based Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Stash, etc) support setting the app home with environment variables.
