    Description

      It is very easy to create a valid variable for build tools such as Maven that will take up 250+ characters, with 300 and 400 strings being quite plausible.

      Additional error checking in the UI, prior to the submission of the variables, would greatly improve customer experience by not having to investigate DB issues and errors.
