    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

When I create svn commits like "MYApp-11 This is a bug fix", the next bamboo build does NOT get automatically linked to the JIRA issue because the id is not in ALL CAPS. If I make a commit with "MYAPP-11 This is a bug is not a feature", then it will be automatically linked. Since we have some scripts that depend on the auto-linking, I would like Bamboo to be more forgiving if I type a lowercase JIRA id in the commit message.

This is a bug because: (A) it is inconsistent with other plugins like crucible, and the lack of consistent behavior is unexpected and (at first) confusing, and (B) It doesn't handle user "errors", thereby degrading the user experience (it doesn't make things easy and it feels less transparent or automatic).

Please make Bamboo more consistent with other plugins, and let it see JIRA numbers despite how they are capitalized.
