Stop Deployment does not stop a queued deployment

I'm trying to stop a deployment that seems to be hung. I'd like to just remove the deployment from the queue. I try using the Stop Deployment button to stop the deployment, but this is what I get when I try - see below.
I hope you can give me a workaround to stop the deployment or remove it from the queue.
