Reused branch keys in Bamboo causes problem with deployment

Plan branches are named after the plan name by the use of some series. For example a plan TESTA-TSTA will branch keys in this formats TESTA-TSTA0, TESTA-TSTA1 and so on. Now if we have configured branch expiry, after a while the branches will get deleted and the newly created ones will re-use the old keys. This has consequence on branch deployments as the deployment will now read something like

No release with the artifacts of this build exists.
The next release containing these commits is release XXXX
