Transition JIRA issues after successful deployment to an environment

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

We would like to be able to automatically transition a JIRA item (from "Dev Complete" to "Ready for QA" in our workflow), once a release associated with that issue is deployed to our QA environment. This way our testers can know that they can start testing that story or bug.

[BAM-14044] Transition JIRA issues after successful deployment to an environment

Was this added to Jira Cloud if so how do I set it up? If not could we get and update and/or a workaround?

Looks like this was implemented in Jira Cloud, and update on when this is going to be available in Jira Server / Data Center?

This would really help our development/ testing workflow.

Atlassian, more than 6 months have passed since the last comment. Any chance this can be reevaluated?
