UPM cannot self-update in Bamboo 4.4 and 4.4.1

Bamboo 4.4 and 4.4.1 shipped with a version of UPM (2.7.8) whose self-update functionality is broken. This is a key part of UPM as it gets new UPM updates to customers - and nobody with 4.4 or 4.4.1 will be able to update their UPM version without dropping the jar into their plugins directory and restarting the app.

This is fixed in UPM 2.7.10. Even more preferable would be to bump to UPM 2.8.1 as this brings in many improvements and new features plus ADG-compatibility.
