Use wildcards to expand WAR path

Is it possible to deploy a WAR file named like "my-project-*.war" using the tomcat plugin?

This is because the WAR file was packaged in other job, and the resulted WAR is shared using "shared artifacts". Is this procedure correct or common?

I can change de final name to exclude de version number (the wildcard is used to match this version number), but I prefer this name because the file is also copied using SCP.
