The basic requirement to quarantine or unleash a failed test is to have the plan administrator permission as mentioned in https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Quarantining+failing+tests . We have however noticed that this is not the case as the unleash button is only visisble to users with admin global permission.
Steps to reproduce
- Grant some users plan admin priviledges by navigating to the page https://localhost:8085/chain/admin/config/editChainPermissions.action?buildKey=PROJKEY-PLANKEY
- Quarantine some failed tests
- Login as one of the user granted permissions in step 1
- Visit the page https://localhost:8085/browse/PROJKEY-PLANKEY/quarantine
expectation
All quarantined test will be listed with option to unleash
Current behaviour
The unleash button is missing. However, users with global admin privileges will see the button. It is important to note that the unleash button will be visible to plan admins when viewing a specific build result summary eg https://localhost:8085/browse/PROJKEY-PLANKEY-X
