Bamboo UI is inadequate to deal with parent/child dependencies where there are a large number of plans

    Description

Since we upgrade to Bamboo 4.1.2, some of our users have been complaining about the lack of visibility into the plan configuration. Specifically, the removal of the read-only view of the plan configuration. This was extremely useful to view the parent/child relationship. In most servers, editing the config to do the same thing would probably suffice.
However, our primary Bamboo server has the following metrics:

      Instance Statistics
      Number of plans 4898
      Number of builds (approx)915589
Full reindex time (approx)8 hours, 28 mi

In Bamboo 4.1.2, when you edit a plan config to alter dependencies, it's page after page of plans and buried in there is whatever dependencies you may have already established.
The old read-only configuration tab on the plan summary presented those existing dependencies in a concise manner.

Something needs to be done to improve the plan dependency management experience in the UI for instances with large numbers of plans.

Some suggestions off the top of my head are:

      1. Move any existing parent/child dependencies right to the top of the tab in a new "Existing dependencies" section, so they're easy to see and change
      2. Introduce some filter box to the dependency tab so that users can filter plans by entering text

Above all else, we'd like to see a read-only configuration re-introduced somewhere the plan, so we don't have to edit a plan to know what the configuration is. I'm attaching a screen grab showing what a nightmare dependency management currently is.
